【『クㇱテ』ドイツ公演終了】

ドイツ・ケムニッツで開催された世界演劇祭 Theater der Welt 2026 にて、マユンキキ⁺『クㇱテ』全2公演を無事終え、帰国しました。

昨年の国際芸術祭「あいち2025」で初演した本作を、今回はドイツの皆さんへ届けることができました。会場は両日大入り&ソールドアウト。多くのお客様にご来場いただき、心より感謝申し上げます。

会場となったのは、ドイツ産業革命発祥の地の一つでもあるケムニッツの旧工場をリノベーションした劇場。非常に特徴的な空間でしたが、現地スタッフの素晴らしい仕事によって音響環境は丁寧にコントロールされ、作品に集中できる上演空間が実現しました。

私は本作でサウンドデザインを担当しました。同じ作品でも、劇場、観客、文化的背景、そして現地スタッフとの協働によって、毎回まったく異なる立ち上がり方をすることを改めて実感した公演でもありました。

この作品に関わってくださった出演者、スタッフ、Theater der Welt関係者の皆さま、ご来場くださった皆さま、本当にありがとうございました。

また次の現場で。 I have safely returned to Japan after completing two performances of Kuste by Mayunkiki+ at Theater der Welt 2026 in Chemnitz, Germany.

Following its premiere at the Aichi Triennale 2025, we were grateful to present the work to audiences in Germany. Both performances were sold out, and I sincerely thank everyone who joined us.

The venue was a renovated former factory in Chemnitz, one of the historic centers of Germany's industrial development. It was an acoustically unique space, but thanks to the outstanding work of the local technical team, the environment was carefully controlled and provided an excellent setting for the performance.

I was responsible for the sound design and performance. This production reminded me once again that the same work can take on a completely different presence depending on the theatre, the audience, the cultural context, and the collaboration with the local team.

My heartfelt thanks go to all the performers, technical crew, the Theater der Welt team, and everyone who came to experience the performances.
