I have dedicated my practice to the study and performance of maracatu baque virado, a traditional performance and festive music form from Northeast Brazil. Based on this practice, I develop musical activities and workshops focused on rhythm and collective structure, both in Japan and internationally. I offer performances and lectures for music festivals and cultural institutions, educational programs for schools, corporate workshops and team-building sessions, as well as private lessons for both professionals and beginners.
